No matter what part of your body hurts, a physical therapist can help you alleviate or manage pain without costly medication or other invasive methods.
Water walking, swimming and flexibility exercises can help you avoid surgery. Pursuing an exercise program designed by a physical therapist can be one of the best protections from injury and surgery.
Tne of our patients said this about his exceptional service at Grayslake Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy & Wellness!
“I lived with lower back pain for over 19 years. After several M.R.I.'s and x-rays and seeing many different types of physicians, physical therapist and chiropractors, nothing had improved. After another ’one more attempt’ to determine the problem, a doctor told me ‘you simply need to loosen up certain muscles - too tight’. Fortunately, I found Grayslake Rehabilitation & Complete Physical Therapy! The staff knew exactly what to do and how to teach me to effectively treat this on my own for the rest of my life. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and sincerely caring is what I experienced. Ultimately, I found results!” J Hobson, Grayslake, IL
A physical therapist at Grayslake Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy & Wellness can improve your quality of life by helping you move freely again and can even help you prevent an injury altogether. Our physical therapists receive specialized education in a variety of sciences – physics, human anatomy, kinesiology (human movement), to name a few. They understand how the body works and how to get you moving again. They know how to manage all four of the body’s major systems – musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular/pulmonary, and integumentary (skin) – to restore and improve motion.
